Christianity is Paschal joy, Christianity is collaboration with God, Christianity is an obligation newly undertaken by man- kind to cultivate the Lord’s paradise, once rejected in the fall;
and in the thicket of this paradise, overgrown with the weeds of many centuries of sin and the thorns of our dry and loveless  life, Christianity commands us to root up, plow, sow, weed, and harvest. Authentic, God-manly, integral, sobornoels Christianity calls us in the Paschal song: “Let us embrace one another.” In the liturgy we say, “Let us love one another, that with one mind we may confess. …” Let us love – meaning not only one mind, but also one activity, meaning a common life. It is necessary to build our relations to man and to the world not on human and worldly laws, but within the revelation of the divine commandment. To see in man the image of God and in the world God’s creation. It is necessary to understand that Christianity demands of us not only the mysticism of communion with God, but also the mysticism of communion with man.

 

 

Christendom is Paasvreugde, Christendom is samenwerking met God, Christendom is een verplichting die pas door de mens is aangegaan om het paradijs van de Heer te cultiveren, eens verworpen in de herfst; en in het struikgewas van dit paradijs, overwoekerd door het onkruid van vele eeuwen van zonde en de doornen van ons droge en liefdeloze leven, beveelt het christendom ons om wortel te schieten, te ploegen, te zaaien, te wieden en te oogsten. Authentiek, goddelijk, integraal, nuchter christendom zegt ons in het paaslied : “Laten we elkaar omhelzen.” In de lichte urgentie zeggen we: “Laten we elkaar liefhebben, opdat we met één geest kunnen belijden …” Laten we liefhebben – niet alleen één geest, maar ook éénactiviteit, wat een gemeenschappelijk leven betekent. Het is noodzakelijk om onze betrekkingen met de mens en met de wereld niet op menselijke en werelds wetten te bouwen, maar binnen de openbaring van het goddelijke gebod. Om in de mens het beeld van God te zien en in de wereld Gods schepping. Is het noodzakelijk om te begrijpen dat het christendom
van ons niet alleen de mystiek van de gemeenschap met God eist , maar ook de mystiek van de gemeenschap met de mens.
